Training For Service Agencies

We offer tactical rappel, confined space rescue, fire rescue, K-9 rappel training, group rescue, swiftwater and tactical rescue courses for Law Enforcement, Fire and Rescue Agencies including FEMA and general industry.

We have provided course training to SAR agencies, Sheriff Departments, and Fire Agencies throughout the United States along with internationally recognized River and Cliff rescue teams.

Course List

Confined Space Entry and Rescue
This is an in-depth studies in the many phases of confined space rescuers encompassing scene management, lockout/tag-out, atmospheric monitoring, ventilation, SCBAs/supplied air, portable anchor systems, patent packaging, and entry and extrication.
This course is for: Fire/Rescue, FEMA, and General Industry.

Fire Technical Rescue
This course is for: Fire/Rescue, FEMA, and General Industry.

Rope Rescue Technician I/II
The participant in this course will receive state-of-the-art training in applied studies of force multipliers, construction of elevated anchor systems over difficult edges, and in the rigging of horizontal systems.
This course is for: Fire/Rescue, FEMA

Light and Fast Rope Access / Rescue
This course is for: Fire/Rescue, FEMA, Wilderness SAR

Rigging Physics I
This is an applied, hands-on approach to rigging physics, with the main focus on field application of friction coefficients, tension & compression, fall factors/impact force. and resultant forces.
This course is for: Fire/Rescue, FEMA, Wilderness SAR

Rigging Physics II
This course analyzes and challenges many traditional rigging gospels such as true belays and the BCCTR Rescue Belay Competence Drop Test. Much of this course takes place inside the RRG Rigging Lab where we study real time effects of impact force as it applies to rope rigging systems.
This course is for: Fire/Rescue, FEMA, Wilderness SAR, Rigging Instructors

Portable Anchor Systems (AHD) Module I
This is a 2 day rope technician’s skills course for the purpose of learning the rigging theory that supports sound and reliable manipulative tripod and quad-pod skills congruent with the requirements of NFPA 1670 and 1006 Technician level.
This course is for: Fire/Rescue, FEMA, Wilderness SAR

Portable Anchor Systems (AHD) Module II
This module will focus on back-tying skills as they apply to guying mono-pods and bi-pods. Intermediate force multiplier theory that is applicable to portable anchors,  including a working understanding of tension/compression, coefficient of friction and resultant force are key component of this Module.
This course is for: Fire/Rescue, FEMA, Wilderness SAR

Portable Anchor Systems (AHD) Module III
This is a technician’s skills course that will advance the practitioner’s knowledge when rigging high directional anchors for horizontal system, and for advance systems that require the rigging of multiple systems and how this knowledge can help create elevated points in seemingly impossible locations.
This course is for: Fire/Rescue, FEMA, Wilderness SAR, Rigging Instructors

Horizontal Rigging Systems / Highlines
In addition to a complete treatment of  highline rigging, this course will also give the participant a solid foundation of even more usable techniques such as Dynamic Directionals, and Two Rope Systems.
This course is for: Fire/Rescue, FEMA, Wilderness SAR, Rigging Instructors

Canyoneering Rescue Technician
This course is for: Wilderness SAR, Canyoneering SAR, FEMA
